He was going to cheat even though he didn't say it (i found out later). He said he wants us to be friends. Do cheaters try to come back?

He didn't say that he wanted to break-up, he just said, I think we should be friends is that the same?

Not to my knowledge. Some relationships just mutually dissolve.
If youve not had sex with him, then consider his motive for breaking up.
He should give you some space to find someone else or figure out what he wants.
You may not have had a real good communicative relationship with him previously and it's something you should work on if he wants to come back.

Oh yes!!! This one guy that I really liked broke up with me b/c he said there were "family issues" going on and he couldn't handle having a girlfriend right then ... well come to find out, he couldn't handle a girlfriend but he sure could handle another girl, people had told me that he'd been cheating on me with this girl ... dumb me I didn't believe them ... it was true!! It didn't even take 2 days after we broke up for him to go to her!!!!! YEP! So I guess you could say that he broke up with me because he was going to cheat. And yes they do come back!!!! This one came back twice asking me to forgive him for going to that other girl, and that he was dumb, but he wouldn't do it again! Yeah right, guys lie!!!! Just be glad that he didn't cheat when you two were dating, even though that kinda is cheating on you just b/c he left you for her, but don't feel bad 'cause it happens to a lot of people! Even if you REALLY REALLY like him don't go back out with him ... he'll just end up hurting you again, trust me I know!

Cheaters always try to come back. its usually just a straying wiener. he just wanted another piece of ***. at least he broke up with u first?

been there.. done that... in your situation!!!... he said his still young and curious.....said he startin to like som other girl... few days later he came back........ =( makes me wonder did he come back cos he couldnt get the girl he was gna 'cheat' on with.......??
question is.. do u want to be in my situation? where he comes back, but your always scared he will leave again?.. kind of makes you feel like your a 'backup' ....

Yes, often they do after they get their fill elsewhere, then they get bored and do it again. As for my experience, they all cheated and did their best to hide it, then begged forgiveness. Dump him for good.
