Honestly, if you are not making Church attendance as important as or more important than work or the "night before" it wont make any difference what time of the day that services are held.

We have a morning and an evening service and if you truely would like to attend later in the day, You can find evening services at most doctrinal churches.

That's exactly how I feel!!! I hate getting up early in the morning on one of my only days off, but I want to go to church. It would be so much better if there were afternoon services.

At my old church, we had service at 8:30am, 11:00, and 6:30pm. Would you believe me if I told you that the 8:30 service had more attendees than the 6:30? I think people just want to "get it over with" like my husband.

I think they time it so we can go out to lunch right after. I would still prefer the morning so it feels like I have the rest of the day off.

Does it really matter if you go to church or not as long as you pray and have a relationship with God? I don't go anymore because I felt like I was always meeting phony people who said they were Christians but acted like they weren't. So now I pray at home and often.

I go to my services at 6 pm on Saturday night, not because I don't want to get up early, but because it works better for me with my job.

It might and it might not. We attend Sunday's Mass on Saturday evening. I work nights and staying up after working for Mass is not always possible. Some may find it more to their liking though.
