EEEeeewwwwww aren't you just FULL of yourself!
Well, mister starting quarterback, maybe your friend and you both should just do that girl a big favour and forget about her. She is definitely better off without either of you. And what makes you think that she would deign to stoop to the level of associating with you? Not all girls are attracted to jocks, you know. Some of them can't stand the attitude that you're displaying right here for all the world to see, and would shoot you down sooner than date you!

You both go after different girls. Don't let some girl break up what is probably a really good friendship. Besides if you did go after her you would definitely be hurting your friend even though he wouldn't admit to it. Bigger issue though is if she ever found you both liked her and she might, if she was that type of girl, put you guys against each other. By saying you are a better kisser or your friend listens more. And before long ya'll could be fighting each other over some chick that could be laughing her behind off at breaking up your friendship. That wouldn't be fair to either of you, so pick seperate girls and let that one go.

It's obvious you don't want this girl very badly, as you are already lining up what you are going to do if you can't have her. Let her go- give your friend a shot. It seems he has the right kind of humility that most girls actually find attractive. My odds are on him getting the girl in the end anyway (sorry).
Most girls prefer those that are aware of their failures to those that use a label to make themselves look better (ie: I'm the starting quarterback...).
Good Luck for the future :)

Wow... so you could have any girl on the sole reason you are the starting quarterback at your high school.. must be nice. Shallow but must be nice. Oh well.. toot your horn dude.. things will change when you either A. Mature or B. get out in the real world. Oh and to answer your question.. let him have her until he is done, then you can have your turn.

I would say that you both should just find another girl to "go after". You don't want to ruin a good friendship over approaching a girl that in the end might not end upp pursuing anything with either of you! It's not worth the agrivation and ruined friendship.

Well if you are so confident you could get other girls then do it. He's your friend, don't let a girl come between you two.

well, if you are confident enough to think that you could have any other girl, then let him have her, and go after someone else...

You should both let her go. It's fair.
Girls will come and go.
Your friends will be there always.
