I live in Hickory, North Carolina and i get my license in April. In North Carolina, can a 16 year old own a car? As in, the car be under my name, the title and regestration as well. I am not buying my car from a dealership, i am buying a car from someone i know. :)

Yes you just have to notify your local DMV and they will tell you what do like the paper work and stuff.

yes, minors can own vehicles.

They do have to have a licensed driver on the policy, however, in order to actually INSURE the vehicle.
