Tonights guest was a medical doctor who said that the transfats and saturated fats plus the hygrogenated oils used in foods in todays supermarkets are not good for you.

That's old news. Anything with partially hydrogenated or hydrogenated oils you should stay away from. It's in a lot of things such as peanut butter, granola bars, most cakes, breads and such. Just read the labels.
