ok i just found out today that patrick still likes me at least thats what his pal joey says and theres a dance for 7&8 graders on the 29th and i dont know if i should go w/ mii friends or ask him or wait for him im sooooo cunfused and there has been some family problems and i cant tell him or anyone else bout them but it kills me inside to know i took it out on him i was soo wrong please random pplz HELP ME!!!

Go to the dance. Meet other guys. See if Patrick approaches you.
Do not chase after him.
There is lots of guys out there.

Be honest with yourself and him. If you really like HIM and not the idea of having a boyfriend,Tell the guy you still like him. My daughter is your age, and she has been through about 4 boyfriends this past year. These early relationships are important because they set a pattern for how you deal with future relationships. If the boy has ever been mean or abusive pysically or verbally, he is trash and shuold be avoided. You are too special to lower yourself to that standard. If he is always kind, respectful, and caring, then you may have the makings of a good friendship with this boy. Always keep reality in mind, you will not "LOVE HIM FOREVER", but you can make a lifelong friend if you understand that both of you are going through great changes in you lives at this age

First - ask him out
On the family issues can't help you there, but if you took out your anger on him explain to him that there are some issues at home that you cannot talk about, but ask for his understanding.

Go with your friends and tell him that you hope to see him there. It's just really not that big a deal. You're young and shouldn't have a boyfriend anyway.

"friends are like four leaved clovers, hard to find, lucky to have" don't give up on them just for a guy and there'll be more dances to come when you'll be able to go with him. plus, you'll see him there anyway
