Call the pharmacy where you got the medicine from. They will help you, tell you if you can or cannot take the medication with food or milk. Many acne antibiotics you may NOT take with food or milk. So, I am unable to advise you right now =(. They will advise you correctly. It will be much quicker than making a call to your doctor. Many times your doctor is going to refer you to call the drug expert, oh I mean pharmacist, anyway.

How much do the nightmares bother you? If they are a real problem, you ought to talk to your doctor. Always tell your doctor about any discomfort you are having from medications. There may be something else he can prescribe to you. I take medication for my seizures, and I have the same problem. The side effects suck (insomnia, lack of appetite, racing thoughts, weight loss), but hey, it's stopping the seizures, so it's worth it.

Not wihtout your Dr's permission. You never know what side effect can occur without being a pharmacist or Dr. Tell the Dr first. Vomiting is not a good thing so most likey they will change it for you. It sounds like an allergic reaction.

Tell your doctor what you told us and ask your doctor what you asked us. Then you will do the right thing. If you can not do this real soon, since it is just for acne you won't die and I see no harm if you go off of it until you can talk to him/her. Why continue to suffer until then that is if you are taking it correctly (with food or not or whatever).

try taking the antibiotic with food, if no better in a few days please notify your health care provider who prescribed it, you may need to switch antibiotic therapy. There must be a good reason the antibiotic was prescribed, so don't discontinue it without notifying your health care provider.

You should go back to the doctor you discussed this with at first and ask them- we're not doctors and this is a potentially serious problem

When one of my meds made me sick, my Dr. told me to take it with food, or at least with milk, if the problem continues, go back to the Dr's, you might be having a bad reaction.
