He's not really cute, but he's definitly a gentlemen. My friend says that he's just one of those guys that are "guy weird". I like him and I can tell he likes me too. Should I ask him out or put a note in his locker or give him my # or what?

He likes to hang out with me and my friends and he shook hands with me the first day. We always do knuckles whenever we see eachother.

that a sign of maturity, way to go girl. any Young women will want a gentlemen over good look, the ones who dont are blinded by beauty. be glad your not. i think you should give him your # that way when he call you you will know he has some interest in you to. OK, dont trip if he doesn't call, he might be shy, or just simply miss place the #

Girl it's your life & don't let your friends decide what you like & don't like. If he's a gentlemen you should get to know him. After all there are not many guys who are gentlemen. If you like him thats all that matters. If they were your true friends they would let you be yourself & tell you to go for it. It's hard though because they get pressure from eachother. Everyone thinks you need to be all alike to be good friends. It's better if your yourself. You can be the example for your friends. Just be yourself.

If he is a gentleman, I would suggest a note in his locker. He may not be as receptive to a more public approach.
Keep the note simple, give him an out of he feels pressured, and don't expect anything. Just keep things friendly, if it is meant to be, it will happen.

talk to him, say hi to him every time you see him and soon hell look forward to seeing him, put your number in the back of his assignment notebook, write him notes duing study hall, call HIM, ask him to study with you, sit with him at lunch...be brave youll never regret it
