I have been iming and calling this guy that I have become very good friends with since about late june this year. I can talk to him about anything and it is the best feeling in the world to have someone to talk to. I met him on myspace and I know what he looks like, I know what he likes, where he lives, the whole nine yards.
we have been planning on meeting for so long now, but it seems that every time we come close to finally see eachother, something comes up (genuinly).
we both like eachother and I think that "we" have potential. do you think that "we" could work out?

Yes I believe that it could work out. Alot of people bash online dating but the reality is that times are changing and so should peoples attitudes about things. While I do think that meeting a someone in person is a crucial step I also know that the eyes see and the heart feels and you can get to know a person just from talking to them. In fact you might get to know them better because it isn't based on the physical. Back in the day people used to write letters to their loved ones. Fast forward to today...we still write letters only technology has allowed us to get them alot faster : )
Just use caution, as you would if you were meeting someone in person.

yes it is possable to fall in love with some one i know i did and it did work out but it was the distance and the fact neither of us thought it was right as to why we are only friends now we still feel for the other and some thing inside of us always will but now its pure friendship and a bond no one will break.

you might be in luv b/c he said everything that you wanted him to say. but be careful. it's ok to meet him, that's how blind date works. but don't expect anything to happen right away. so just keep planning to meet, but get to know him better too. make sure he's really single first. they can easily say they are single b/c you can't see his girlfriend. so even if you meet, make sure he spends enough time with you to reassure that he doesn't have a girlfriend. it's funny how you plann to meet and things comes up.... mmm i wonder why? be careful and good luck.!!

I think as of now.. you are "falling" for a figment of your imagination. I feel that you must visually meet that person and get to know them, learn their body language, their quirks, their facial expressions, look into their eyes and have some sort of contact before I could "fall" for anyone. You have to remember, he is telling you what he wants to tell you. Sometimes actions speak louder than words. Wait until you really meet him face to face and get to know him before you think of "falling" for him.
