current girlfriend/boyfriend, did you even like them, or did they have to convince you they were worth your time?

He had to convince me. Big time. I liked him a few years back, but then gave up and just let it go. I never thought he'd come crawling back to me later. It was an almost humorous situation he put himself into.

When I started dating my husband, I just got out of my last serious relationship and he was basically the rebound guy. Such a sad existence. Before that though, we were friends and yes, he was trying to convince me to be with him. It didn't take too much convincing being depressed after the previous breakup and all.

in person, yes I like him. But we start talking on the phone first and no, I didn't like him because he was too shy and he had to convince me to go out on a date with him. I'm glad he did, we've been together for 2 years now. =)

The first time I met my girlfriend, now my wife, she could not stand the sight of me. I though she was a stuck-up snob. We dated later, got married later. Still married after 32 years.

Time and communication convinced me he was worth my time. Not just that he was cute but that we had similar intrests and he made me laugh .... the nice *** wasn't bad either.
