I'm not religious. I don't like the word. You can be religious about a lot of things that have nothing to with God.
I have a relationship with God through the free gift of salvation He gave me on the Cross through the sacrificial death of His Son, Jesus Christ. So, that makes me a Christian, but it doesn't make me "religious".
P.S. "John": you rock!

After much searching and Bible study with several denominations, I choose to be a Jehovah's Witness. I believe it is the religion that teaches as close to what the Bible actually says as is possible.

I am not religious, as in I do not follow ceremonies just because my relatives have.

Religion is a business. They use all the tactics of any business. Fear, advertising, word-of-mouth, myths and lies. I myself am spiritual -- that means I don't send in my money so some TV evangelist can continue his drug habit.

I am a Christian.
I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html ).
For scientific and intellectual evidence for the existence of God, see http://www.godsci.org/gs/godsci/evidence.htm
Cordially,
John

Nope. There's not evidence for any god(s). The modern ones will end up on the scrap heap just like Zeus, Odin and Isis.
