We do learn what we live, because this is all that we know.
However, you don't have to live what you learn. This is were the choice comes in.
For example: A lot of people know they can make more money using market accounts, but they still choose to stay in the bank at 1%-3%.
Regardless of what they know they refuse to change.

To a certain extent, then if you are mature enough you don't act on the bad stuff you learned so as not to use that as an excuse when you've done a bad.
