How do we as Christians deny that "so called Christianity" has not spread by the sword? Although I don't believe that Constantine was a Christian for a minute nor his followers, who can deny the damage that they and the Catholic religion has done to Christianity? There is a big difference in REAL CHRISTIANS AN FALSE ONES, perhaps the same is true of Muslims, at least I hear some saying that.

Ideas and doctrines that are spread by force or imposition from outside are usually short-lived. If Islam has lived for 1500 years then we can't say that force was the only factor.
Actually about 1500 years ago, civilizations were quite primitive. Arabia mostly had Bedouin and tribal society. So at that time religion unified the whole of Arabia under one leadership. It was a progress of civilization.
There are some instances, like the conversion of Mongols to Islamic faith, where conquerors adopted the religion of the vanquished. Same is true with regard to Turks.

Just like Christians deny that Christianity has been spread by the power of the sword, like the Crusades in the Middle Ages. Look how evil the Church was 500 years ago.

My Dear Brother!
1-The Holy Book of Muslims (the Quran )..says" There is no use of FORCE in religion"
2-Prophet Muhammed said" who ever hurts a Non-Muslim; would be hurting me and i would be his opponent in judgement day"
3-the Holy Quran says" O infidels..i dont worship what you worship, and you dont worship what i worship,..you have your religion and i have my religion"....
4-Islam says.(protect the non muslims and dont hurt them)....what do u think of that.........
5-Why there are Muslims in Indonesia and Philipenes and Malaysia...taking into consideration that NO Muslim army ever set foot there??????????
6-Why is there Christians and jews converting to islam every day in UK and USA.......did someone force them!!!
7-Please read well in true islam ...before u say such a thing!!

Middle Eastern Muslims deny it. There are other Muslims in the world too you know.
For the most part though Islam says to humanely treat any prisoners of war and for less sins just do not to go into war.
Those Middle Eastern people kinda corrupted Islam and now the rest of the world thinks Islam is bad. Muslims in other countries aren't as crazy.(My opinion)

Let me ask you one question. What is the country that has the largest Muslim population? It's Indonesia and it has more than 200 million Muslims. No Muslim army has set foot to Indonesia in History. Does that mean Muslims threatened them to convert as you people always say..??!! In fact, it is the total opposite, they became Muslim because of the beauty of Islam. They became Muslim through learning Islam and deciding themselves that they will be better of with Islam than with any other religion.
So please don't just talk before making a proper research. It is you who should get your history knowledge straight!

Muslims deny that because if u actually read history, you will find out that its not true. Its true that Muslims conquered certain countries just like every other empire out there, but the Muslims treated the conquered people with respect and allowed them to practice their faith. Many Christian rulers and conquerers forced people to convert or they killed them. And what about the pope's statement?? He's just causing tension between people of different faiths and we all definately dont need that right now especially with all this terrorism thats been going on!!!!!!!!

Nobody was forced to convert to Islam unless it was extremists and they're just nuts. You're fogetting that Christianity spread by the sword, and later guns. Look at Africa right now. Their entire hstory is wiped out. Once they were enslaved, they were forcibly made chrisitans.

For the same reason Christians do like to forget that it was not exactly brotherly love that spread Christianity, especially in the Americas, but anywhere else you care to look, starting with Charlemagne in the 10th century. That also is History.
