We are born as a way of fulfilling God early plans during the days of creation. According to Genesis 1:28- Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, and have subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth. God initial purpose was the earth to be fill in accordance with the fish of the sea.

We were born because God wants the earth to be inhabited with righteous humans living peacefully and lovingly with eachother. He is allowing this time for everyone to see the results of living selfishly, violently and under mankind's rulership so that we will choose God's rulership and behavior which promotes justice, love and peace.

In the beginning there was the Creator. The Creator was (is) all there was (is), there was (is) nothing that was (is) NOT the Creator. The Creator was (is) conscious of itself and composed entirely of energy. We call this engergy Love.
Though fully aware of every aspect of It's own Divinity, the Creator could not experience itself, since All was (is) One. You may know yourself to be "forgiving", but you cannot experience the act of forgiveness unless there is someone other than you who has done something for you to forgive.
So the Creator divided itself into an infinite number of individuations of consciousness, granting each the gifts of forgetting and free-will. The gift of forgetting allows each manifestation of the Creator to experience itself as separate from the All, and free-will allows each part of the Creator to become a co-creator of it's individual experience.
Thus the Creator setup a holographic illusion wherein It's innumerable parts can play the game of separateness and experience every possible variation of Divinity.
You are God experiencing himself/herself, as is every other creature in existence. In the same way you cannot separate the air in the kitchen from the air in the living room, there is literally nothing that separates you from God, except for your own illusion that this is the case.

How high is up? Why is the sky blue? God put each of us here for a reason...do we have to know the answer? The fact remains that we are here and the creation of God. Follow what He wants us to do, not what we want to do.

God says in Quran "I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. (Quran 51.56)
So our purpose in this world is to worship God, this includes researching all the religions, choosing the Right Religion and following that Right Religlion (which is Islam, by the way) until we meet the God.
