I recently found out, through guilty confession, that my sister and my ex-husband had a sexual relationship during our marriage of 22 yrs. They were having sex while I was home caring for my boys and being a wonderful wife. Do you think that the pain/betrayal/anger in my heart will ever leave so that I will find peace again?

I think that you will find peace again but that it will take a while and you may now have issues with trust, I know I wouldn't trust people if my own blood participated in an affair with my husband behind my back, you know?
Obviously, you and the husband didn't work out, so it's good that the two of you aren't together anymore... but my question to you is, Have you spoken to your sister about this?
I ask you to sit down with her and have a chat with her. Explain to her how hurt you are by the decision she made a while ago and that it's become hard to trust and be happy now knowing this information. She is your sister and she needs to find ways to console you after what she has done. A sister should never betray her sister.
As for your ex, be happy he is your ex-husband and don't talk to him again (it will only bring back bad memories). I think you should regain happiness with your sister (although it may take years) because she is your blood but the ex-hubby, he's not important... and he's an ex flame for a reason.

who says you were such a wonderful wife? you? well any way if you harbor hate all you will get is pain. forgive them because its the right thing to do. and besides are you really so perfect that you can sit back and judge?I think not! Isnt that Gods job anyway? I believe it is!.

my heart goes out to you.............what sister would do this? sick sad beast sister.............its called morak value and they do not have it........forget them.,what comes around goes around!!! forgive them and get on with your life or you'll get sucked up in their soap opera............and never be happy...........besides the guilt will eventually get to them !!!!!!!!!
