Im thinking about getting some but im not totally sure yet.

im not talking about the side swept bangs or the side bangs. its just the ones that go on ure forehead before the eyes. u know? those??

I think bangs are the best thing I've ever gotten for my hair. THey are an excellent way to show off your face. Depending what kind of bangs you want though. If you want the more evened out bangs, don't get them so that it looks like every strand is even. Get a shreddier look. Try to keep them above your eyebrows when you first get it cut. Because during the first 2 week after a haircut, the hair tends to grow very fast. So you won't want it too long that it'll poke you in the eye and you'll need another cut right away!. Also, when you get the bangs done on the side, make sure your stylist doesn't make it so it looks like there's one clear line that separates it, that just makes hair look lopsided. Tell them to blow dry style it so that it looks more relaxed and makes your hair look more volumized than flat and lifeless. =) Hope this helps your decision. If you still need more convincing, look up hair styles for your face shape =)

It depends on how short. Get the kind where you can pull them back if you want to. This way, you can change up the hairstyle.
Some bangs look stupid so, be carefull and don't get the Kelly Osbourne bangs or it will make you look fat and you don't want that. The Betty Page bangs will always look great, maybe try that.

I just got sideswept bangs and I like it. I haven't had bangs for about 12 years, so it's a little hard to get used to...and they get in my eyes sometimes....but it has given me a whole new look. I say go for it.

I actually just got bangs and I wasn't too sure at first but I just went for it............I've never had front bangs in my life so I did feel a little wierd at first. I'm glad I got them now............and everyone else seems to like them even more than I do. Just go for it.........hair grows back anyway.

Don't do anything until you can make up your own mind. Only your hair dresser should influence your hair style that much. However, if you dance, then you cannot have bangs because a ballerina just doesn't.

I think bangs are way too difficult to work with if you have an unmanagable hair type or a very busy schedule.

i cut my own bangs but i have curly hair so its hard to tell. but when i put my hair in a pony tail they stand out and i like them a lot since not many people with curly hair have bangs

I think some ppl look cute with bangs and some don't. It all depends on how u think u would look with them. Follow your first thought.
