Someone told me jello. But i cant sit and eat jello all the time. Is there anything else I can do? My nails are weak and bend and split and stuff, they have been that way as long as i can remember.

There are special jello pills on the market to make your fingernails grow. Sally Hansen also has strengthening polish that works well. When I took prenatal vitamins, my nails were great/!

No Y-ElLO is not neccesarly the answer. This assumption is based on the fact that Y-Ello and Gummi bears etc contain Gelatine, which is made at a rendering plant. (Dead animals, bones, hooves etc) If you know how Gelatine is made....you might never eat it again...
As for your question: Anything that contains vitamin B. Especially products with a rich yeast content (Such as beer (yep!) certain breads (Sour dough) or small ammounts of yeast. Fresh yoghurt is good (must have life bacteria cultures) Vitamin B supplement pills (There are vitamin supplements available at the supermarket specially formulated to Womens needs and include nutrients for hair and nails)
Another way to get your hair and nails growing are female hormones (estrogene) as found in Baby Pills...But this is general information please do not experiment with hormone treatments without the supervision of a doctor.

Definitely jello is good. You can add more calcium to your diet. More milk, etc. Get your self a vitamin supplement like vitamin E. You can also use a nail treatment with vitamin E, gelatin, keratin, aloe vera. A good one to try is Nutra-nail or other similar ones.

weak nails need calcium. Some other things you can do is put nail hardeners. One that works really well for me is Nail Life found at Sally's Beauty Supply. I live in NC so I do not know if you have that store anywhere else. It works great!

Pop in a calcium pill. Jello is too expensive.

Gelatin is the answer -- and you can add it as an ingredient to other food, you don't have to eat jello.

Actually, you probably already eat a little gelatin --it's the shiny slightly flexible covering for a lot of prescription medicines. You can also buy it as a baking ingredient.

Jello is the best...just mix it with hot water and drink it as a hot drink...delicious!

also soak your nails in warm veg. oil 20 minute every other day.

I'm not sure about the foods...but I know that they have vitamins made especially for strengthening your hair & nails.

Here's a link:

You need calcium. Drink Milk; eat figs; eat spinach (with ecoli problems, avoid this for now).
