I personally like the South Beach Diet (especially the pizza) and Lean Cuisine microwave meals. If you look through the frozen meal section in the grocery aisle, though, you should probably find something interesting to try.
Things that steam generally work out very well in the microwave considering what it does. Baked potatoes work out especially well. Just wrap them thoroughly in Saran wrap (and believe it or not, you don't poke holes in the saran wrap, you want the steam pressure to build up), and microwave them for eight minutes.

They come out perfect every time and take a lot less than the hours you have to spend baking them in the oven.

That also works out really well for sweet potatoes.

Steamed veggies, of course, just get a zip top bag, put a damp paper towel in it, place the veggies on top, and then seal all but one little corner of the bag, and microwave for a couple of minutes. Does great.

That also, by the way, works for those pre-cooked crab legs you can buy in the store. Wrap in damp paper towel, put in the microwave, and nuke 'em for a couple of minutes. They reheat, they don't get waterlogged, and they don't overcook and become rubbery. =)

There are tons of things you can do with a microwave to make good food. I hear it even makes decent popcorn

In the winter, not much.

In the summer, I cook rice (in a rice steamer), steam all sorts of veggies (in the rice steamer), poach eggs, make omelets, hot cereals, and frozen pizzas -- not the microwavable pizzas (yecchhk), but the self-rising pizzas -- requires a special device you preheat before placing the pizza on top of it. Also, the cole slaw that comes in bags can be microwaved to make a nice cabbage side dish.

Maybe it would be easier to say what I do NOT cook in the microwave: cookies and cakes. Anything else can be nuked if you only know how to do it -- there are plenty of guides out there.

Microwaves are safe. However, some people do not know what they are doing with plastic wraps, paper towels, plastic containers, etc. -- the food they make can be unsafe. Thank goodness most people use them only for popcorn, because most people won't learn how to use the microwave properly.

I cook with nothing but the microwave. You can quite litterally cook just about everything in there.
Here are a few of the web site I use to get recipes. But is you do a search you will find there are thousands of them. Just about any site that has recipes has a microwave section.

I mostly use my microwave for reheating and defrost.
But, I cook vegetables, and sometimes augrautin potatoes in it.
I have seen my husband cook eggs and bacon in it....but I don't think they taste very good.

I found this web site that has microwave recipes though!

Fresh and Frozen Vegetables, Popcorn, Frozen Entrees. Otherwise I use the microwave for re-heating or melting food.

Not much, don't believe in it. I may warm things up, but normally I believe the microwaves are unhealthy.
