People who have memory or historical knowledge of the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962, are aware of how dangerously close the United States came to nuclear war with the Soviet Union. President Kennedy, who may be described as a liberal in his day, used restraint, patience, tactical maneuvering, and effective communications with the enemy to avoid a holocaust. At the same time there was a mentality among right wing conservatives that if America didn't launch an immediate attack, that it would be too late for us to defend our country. When I think back, it is a bone-chilling cold thought about what would have happened if the conservatives had their way. Those are now the kind of people that America has in power in Washington. My worst fear is that another situation similar to the Cuban Missile Crisis will arise while our current administration is still in power. I don't believe that we've got people with the proper mindset or skills to deal with it.

My worst fear is that someone will frustrate me to the point of suicide. I have had the thoughts before and have had them since, but I have never went through with them. This is my worst fear, but I am not this stupid.

Being homeless. I had no family support and I have been recently unemployed, and I am drowning in debt.
