I'd hazard to say that there is a difference in being Christian and being born again. Those who are truly and are discipled properly are alright but most seem to beat others and each other up with their words. I'm one of the Christ followers. Though, I'm not the cream of the crop.

At the risk of sounding cliche, I think we (Christians) need to get better at the "truth spoken in the wrong season can bring harm" thing. Some folks will understand what I mean. And by truthy, I'm speaking of the common dictionary definition: "conformity to fact or reality." Oy vey. Such a debate could be stirred even there.

Anyhow! Um. Let's see... Next question?

Philippians 2:9-11 (New King James Version)

9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father

those of you who say you wouldn't be happy because you're not Christian, you are right. On this day non-Christians will be very unhappy

Christian = Christ like

Religion/Religious = Usually means man being in charge of the faith and laying down a bunch of rules.

So if they were true Christians then I would say yes. If they were just religious then I would say no. I have known some very hurtful people who go to church.

I assume that by "we" you mean "Christians"?

Why would that make anyone else happy, given the history of Christiantiy's rule of Europe in what is now known as "The Dark Ages"? Even Christians weren't immune to being tortured by the zealots who were in power at the time.

Okay Hitler, let's make everyone exactly the same. I would NOT be happier if everyone was forced to pretend to be Christians. I have a wide variety of people in my life and I love it being that way.

... No, no we wouldn't. Uniformity is not utopia. Try reading 1984 and Brave New World. Stability and uniformity are substitutes for meaning.

Oh, and the idiot who replied first: If everyone believed Christ was the son of God, then everyone would be Christian. That is what Christianity is. It is believing that Jesus Christ was the son of God. e.e

Let's not fall into the same mistake as the Muslims.
I love seen a Chinese face, an Indian face, a black face, a white face, different colours, dresses, music, languages, food etc.
Diversity is beneficial. It is wealth.
A totally homogeneous society would be static and boring.
Am I crazy?
