I am taking Lexapro. My mom and my grandma think that imm a zombie and i wont stick up for myself. For example before i started taking them i was lazy and didnt even clean my own messes. But now i am and they are yelling and screaming at me and tell me I don't do anything when I try my best. Ever since i started ir seems like they think that they can say anything they want to me. Should i tell my doctor? What should i do? should i confront my mom and grandma?

First of all you need to see your doctor and tell him you feel badly, and tell you family that this is an illness you are trying to get help with. Yes see your doctor and get on a better antidepressant. it is notyour fault.

I think your mom and grandma shouldn't be putting pressure on you they should appreciate what you try to do I think you should tell your doctor what's going on tell them about your mom and grandma then the doctor probably talk to them about talking to you anyway .

I don't understand why they are upset if you are doing better...? You need a counselor, try at school or tell your dr. to recommend one. Good luck hon.
