It all depends on your pain tolerance.i'm gonna say it hurts like hell not lie to you but when the little one comes out it's worth it. Now days you can get an epideral to help with the pain it's amazing. My dr always said it was like the worse cramping pains i would ever have(especially if you have bad ones with your period)and he was right but worse. I went on to have 2 more so apparently it's worth it....

It is the worst pain imaginable. But there are meds the doctor can give you to help ease the pain. I have been in labor three times and they all felt different, and they all hurt. But, even though I had very difficult pregnancies, I would do it all over again just for the joy of holding my child! There is no greater feeling in this world!!!

I have given birth 3 times with no drugs.
The first part feels like period cramping... only much more intense, and it comes in waves.
The second part feels like you have to take a really big dump. Plus you feel a little insane in the head and sort of like wanting to be alone in the woods.
The third part stings as the babies head rips through your vagina.
The fourth part feels like the biggest feeling of relief you have ever had.
The fifth part is like a rush and F YEAH! I CAN DO ANYTHING!

The contractions feel like you are cramping like diarrhea and the pushing feels like a watermelon coming out of a pea sized hole. Hurts but not as bad as I thought it would. Think the worst and it won't be as bad. Once the baby is out, it is such a relief!

My aunt described it the best by saying it was like shitting a watermelon. But it is a pain that you forget with time.
