I have had many stomach problems, and I think I can answer this one for you. To the right upper part of you stomach is your liver, then below that is your gallbladder and pancreas. The liver is toward the bottom of your riib cage. So when your organ (gallbladder) flares up we get pressure up into our chest. I haven't had a gallbladder in 10 years, but I still get gallstones. Crazy I know. The first surgery had was to remove one from the duct to the intestine. A year ago I had to have surgery to remove one from the duct to my liver. Since then I am having problems and have found out that the same duct to the liver is like growing closed. So eventually they will have to go in there and cut thru. Get your galbladder out, its nothing these days. If you have the laser, you end up with four small insicions. Good luck.

It can happen that way when my brother had tonsillitis years ago he had pains in his kidney area but did not have a saw throat.
The Dr said it was referred pain that is what makes Dr's so smart.
