When I go on holiday, what sort of camera should I take?
A disposable camera?
A digital camera?
My camera?
I have access to all three, although the digital camera is not mine and I don't have the programmes to download photos onto my computer, so would have to get someone to possibly e-mail them to me.
I am in the progress of using both a disposable 35mm camera, and a regular camera. There's no way that I will finish the films before my holiday. But do I need to take both?
Suggestions, the pros and cons of taking one over the other, would be very much appreciated.

It depends what kind of holiday that you're planning on taking.
Disposable camera - light, but no possibility of reloading. Buying a new one is also expensive.
Digital camera - no need to buy film, you can use as many as you need. Bring the plug-in.
Your camera - it's the middle option, and I would choose this one. You can reload it in case it runs out of film, and you don't need to bother with plug-ins, adapters, getting the photos from your friend, etc.
I'm a fan of film photography... that way, you don't take so many stupid pictures or repeated pictures - trying to get it just right. You gotta be conservative with your limited film, and you get your chance to show that you're able to frame the shot with your eye and choose the best angle for it. Plus, you get to wait to see how it turns out - it's like Christmas everytime you pick it up from the photolab! :)

I always prefer a regular camera over a disposable camera, because the resulting photo quality is much better (unless you have a cheap camera). If you don't have the software for the digital camera, then I wouldn't bother taking it. Plus, you don't want to break it somehow and have to answer to its owner! I would take your regular camera and a lot of film. Be sure you have a good (but not bulky) camera bag to pack all of your stuff in, and I would recommend buying a neckstrap for your camera that will allow you to carry it without constantly worrying that you'll drop it or something. But don't do the disposable cameras! Holiday pics are too special for those. :) Have fun!

I would prefer the digital cameras because I like to view my photos on the computer and print the ones I want. So my bet is on the digital camera.
Now the second criteria would be how bulky your camera is. The smaller the better of course. I have a Canon SLR and that is just a bit too bulky for vacation use.

take your regular camera and disposable. the digital isn't yours so don't take it.

digital because you can take tons of pics
