My dad applied for an immigrant visa for his mom....and he wants the priority date....I have been trying to get this but i can`t find it plz help!

If you want to know HIS priority date, it would be on the receipt he received from immigration after he filed the visa. If he does not have the receipt, the priority date should be around the time he filed the application, but it would be best to have the receipt.

I am assuming your father is a US Citizen because otherwise he cannot apply for his mother. Priority date should not matter for him because petitioning for a parent is highest priority (like petitioning for a spouse). The processing of the application should be quick(er).

Immigration Visa's are given by consulates. Go to the consulate he applied to!

If he filed on line he can get it there.If not go to the embassy in the country she lives in on line and you should be able to find it there.
