String cheese, individual boxes of raisins, whole wheat crackers or Ritz, graham crackers, fresh fruit, celery sticks, baby carrots, Trix yogurt or GoGurt - try freezing it so they can squeeze it out of the tubes like a popsicle, granola bars, other cereal bars, GoTarts, CheezIts, Teddy Grahams, popcorn.
Try to avoid common life-threatening allergy items (like peanuts, peanut butter, tree nuts)

Big bag of baby carrots and ranch, assorted veggie or fruit tray with dip, whole grain crackers and real cheese, banana bread and milk, trail mix with dried fruit and nuts, or cookies made with whole wheat flour and organic sugar (really cheap if you buy in bulk)

at barnes and nobles, i saw a cute book for appetizers for kids. i forgot the name, but i'm sure u'll find it quickly.
for example, there was a cute one that was either peanut butter/ jelly, ham and cheese sandwiches, but u use cookie cutters to cut out sandwich shapes. realllly cute! :)
also, u can get celery sticks, put peanut butter and raisins on top.. called "ants on a log".
cut up fruits, like apple slices.. maybe dip in yogurt?
cut up veggies, dip in sour cream or dip (fat free)?
oh they had mini-pitas too, u cut in half, put peanut butter and slices of banana, or something like that.
good luck! :)

My son is in elementary school, and he LOVES to dip his food in something. I would suggest pre-cut veggies with low-fat ranch dressing or fruit with low-fat vanilla yogurt. String cheese is also a huge hit.
