The kittens were not born here, so i dont want them to wonder off during the night. Is there any way i can try to keep them in my yard with out putting them in a kennel overnight?

The reason i am keeping them outside is because they were born outside. They are both male so i dont have to worry about having kittens around my house.

My cat is an outside cat she just sleeps right outside the door in her little house i made for her just spay or neuter cuz there is too many stray cats and if it is female she will probably have kittens at least 5 times a year

My favorite cat slipped out the door one afternoon when I was coming in. She had done this in the past on many occasions and always came back in at night. She never returned that night... a few days later and still no sign of her. Early one morning shortly after, I noticed a very large coyote pass through my yard. I can only assume the coyote was looking for more food. Kittens would make a tasty snack for any coyotes lurking in the neighborhood. Do as others suggest and do not leave them outside. Not only will they predate on the local fauna, they can just as easily fall prey.

By leaving your cat outside....since cats will not stay in a yard like a dog, you are basically raising a ferral cat. This is not a good idea...because alley cats are subject to so much danger...as people on this site have listed a few. Regardless if your cat is kenneled outside he will attract other outdoor neighborhaood cats thereby putting him at risk for carrying and spreading pathogens and disease. Is there a particular reason they can't be indoors? Cats are domesticated and fare better indoors. If you want what is best for your pets reconsider bringing them inside for good.

What does them being born outside have to do with you keeping them outside!!! And are you saying you will them them roam outside without neutering them just because they cannot get pregnant. What about all the unspayed strays out there that they will impregnate??? There is NO WAY you can confine them to your yard, and they can end up getting all sorts of diseases, getting hit by a car, poisoned, eaten by a wild predator/dog, and get in cat fights resulting in injuries. You obviously know nothing about cats and as far as I am concerned should not even own them, give them to someone who cares!

Why would you want them to stay outside? Why have them if you don't want them in your home?

Cats will let you know if they want to go outside. Provide toys for them and keep them entertained and you won't have to worry about damaging your home.

Let them out regularly but not for several months yet! They are still too young!

Cats will wander off in the night but if you provide them with a nice home and let them in then they will come back, thats what cats do!

Think about it, if you where made to live outside no matter what the weather then wouldn't you leave to try and find somewhere better??

u should probably leave them outside for a certain amount of time each day and then increase the time as much as you want whenever you want to and for the first few days stay out there and watch them for as long as you want and then when u see they arent going to run off start leaving them out side at night. Also the outside will be alot better for them than inside because they will be happier outside than inside.

I use cat fence-in to keep my cats from ever leaving my property. Keep your kittens in the house. It was expensive and as I had six cats very worth it. I have had it for twelve years now.

Your kittens will never know what they are "missing" including death from a car, injury from another cat or aggressive dog, disease, being lost, etc.

Most people here will urge you to take the kittens inside your home and keep them there.

Why are you keeping them outdoors? What is the purpose of having them then?

Outside they become PREY to larger animals and CARS.

I suppose they aren't spayed or neutered either....
