OK this problem is really bugging me. The internal amplifier on the back of the deck seems like its getting too hot to work and its coming across the speakers with a very high pitched squeal and the music being distorted. What would cause the internal amp to get this hot? It worked just fine a couple weeks ago so the problem is pretty recent. It's an awesome deck and makes my system pound but it hasn't been able to because of this problem. Another thing it keeps resetting everytime I start my car back up it goes to the demo mode! Really weird. Any help would be very helpful thanks.

your deck is not grounded properly/ there is a separate grounding wire that is in your wiring harness ( brass coloured and u shaped) it needs to be grounded ...if you have an amp hooked up as well make sure that your rca cables are not running on the same side as the power wire this will cause interference and pitching when motor revs.good luck
*** I don't have a brass colored wire, i have a black ground wire, i think its something to do with the internal stuff in the deck i'll have to get it looked at or something***

It does sound like a ground problem if it worked great before. A blown speaker can cause the deck to get hot. Or if the speaker wires are touching metal somewhere, that could cause it also.

i think it needs repaired, I dont know how many speakers you have running through your head unit, but if it is too much for the amp, then it will get hot and burn up, then it will need replaced... go to your local car stereo shop and ask them the price to fix it, your looking at around $100, maybe less

also, if there are any fuses on the head unit itself, check all of them, if one is damaged but not completly blown, but still a little burnt, then replace it, if the problem stops, then comes back after awhile, you need to lower the number of speakers that runs through it but getting an external amp to run them through, will make it sound better too
