Rabbit is available at the local meat market all year round.
If you want ot catch your own and you live on a farm you can catch them any time of the year except in the spring when they have babies as long as you are on your own property.

Rabbits are in season all year round. I get mine from a local fishmonger/game dealer in Stockport. They come from Tatton Park and very good they are too. A very good way is to cook them in cider with french mustard.
