You left out allot of details here. If its a Internet love then chance's are no it aint gonna' work. If its a he was here but now gone home thing, then the only way it can work is if somebody moves. If your a teenager I would suggest you get on with your life and become independent before even considering such notions.

Anything CAN work. I'm sure statistics will tell you it usually doesn't work out that way. But, polling people will not tell you the answer, because it's going to depend 100% on you and your individual situation. Peopole will automatically say no it won't work, but they are assuming. And some people might say sure it can work, but again- what sort of time and effort will you put into it? How jealous are you? How often can you make time to see each other? How expensive will it be to try to call or write, etc.? Can you stay faithful if you don't see the person for months on end? These are things you can only figure out for yourself, but I wish you the best of luck making the decision.

It all depends if u want it to work out!! Is he planning on moving to be with u, or vice versa? Is he there only for some time, as in education, vacation? There's a lot of things that u need to take into consideration before u can decide if its worth it or not. How serious are ur feelings towards each other, how long have u been together?

If u want it to work out, either one of u will sacrifice something to be together. It can happen, it just depends on how bad u guys want it.

My man moved from Tx to CA to be with me, he left everything he knew (family, friends, job) to be with me, the only person he knew here. So, like i said, if u guys want to make it work out, it will. We're still 2gether :-)

I live in the UK and my gf lives in the USA. We have been together nearly 3 years and it has worked out so far. We are in love and love each other very much. Relationships work out when you are willing to make them work. We have a great relationship. Communication is the key. Find out where you both stand in the relationship and go from there. Distance is no reason to give up on what you have, specially if what you have is good.

To some long distance relationships it works but most likely, it doesn't.

Depends on how serious and dedicated you are from each other and the willingness to drop all you got just to be with this special person.

I suggest communication and visitation would be great.

I wish the best.

Long-distance relationships rarely work. Even though you two feel strongly about each other now, time and distance will slowly break-down those feelings. It's a sad truth.

But then again he does live in France. So he's probably homosexual anyway. Have you seen their formal military uniforms? Ohhhh boy...

I doubt it will work unfortunately. I live in Tulsa and have been to Strassburg France and besides it being very far away the way of life is completely different.

My BF lives in Canada and I live in the US. We have be togther for two years and we see eachother often. We are saving to get married and I can't wait. I love him more everyday! But the main thing that has made it work is having God as our center. He will make everything perfect..

It will only work out if one of you is willing to move to be with the other person. If neither one of you want to move then you mine as well call it quits because you will never be able to have a real relationship together.
