True worship is dedicating your life to God. Offering yourself as a living sacrifice. Meaning that you want God to use you any way he sees fit.
Now the worship you are probably referring to can include praying, reading God's Word with an open heart, singing, participating in communion, and serving others. True worship is felt inwardly, then comes out through our actions. Worship is to glorify and exalt God; to show our loyalty and admiration to our Father.

Worship began with Abraham and Isaac heading to Mt. Moriah and here God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son to God as a burnt offering. That the Bible calls worship. Abraham had no concept of sitting on Mt Moriah and strumming on a guitar and singing choruses. That is less than 40 year old idea, not in the Bible at all. Throughout the Bible worship has always been How much my God is worth to me is demonstrated by what I am willing to sacrifice for Him. After Abraham's incident with Isaac, God said, because you have not withheld your son, now I know that there is nothing that you will with hold from me. Watch through the Bible
Isaiah 19They will even worship with sacrifice and offering, and will make a vow to the LORD and perform it.
Romans 12:1 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.
Hebrews 9:9 which is a symbol for the present time. Accordingly both gifts and sacrifices are offered which cannot make the worshiper perfect in conscience,
Worship is never done in the soul, but in the spirit of man. Jesus said John 4:23 "But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. 24 "God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

Rev. 19:9
And he saith unto me, Write
Blessed are they which are called unto the Marriage of Supper of the Lamb.
And he saith unto me.
These are the True saying of God
The Marriage Supper of the Lamb
Revelation 19:6-9 describes how the wife of Jesus Christ, which is the Church of God, has made herself ready for the marriage supper of the Lamb:
"6And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. 7Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. 8And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. 9And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God." (KJV)
All of our righteousness is like filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6). We must put on the righteousness of Jesus Christ, which is typified by linen.
What are the three properties of the linen we should put on for the marriage supper of the Lamb? The linen is fine, it is clean, and it is white.
