The Physcians Desk Reference (PDR) might now be a starting place but there are books that any pharmacy, nurse, doctor, PA
can now go to which provides pictures, descriptions and the maker. Try a booksore site for the names of thess books.

webmd.com has a tool to identify pills. However, I doubt this is a pill that came from any pharmacy. It sounds like some sort of a drug. Maybe you should just split it in half with a friend and see what happens.

There is a book called the "physician's desk reference" or PDR for short. One section has pictures of most comonally used pills. Compare it to the pictures. The PDR is also available online. Visit PDR.com or put PDR in your browser or google it to get to the website. YOu can view the pills there as well.
