Jesus is God. God is love. See the connection. Do you know who the only person in the Bible that Jesus addressed as friend is? Judas Iscariot, when He was being betrayed. God's love transcends human love.

Of course; I don't think Jesus ever truly hated anyone. He may have somewhat disliked those who disobeyed or disregarded his rules and his teachings, but he never hated. He always tried to cure or at least help those in need. But think of it this way: If Jesus was alive today, would George Bush and Cheyney love him? I say that if they don't feel anything negative towards Jesus, then what reason would Jesus, let alone nearly anyone, have to hate them? I believe that Jesus would try to resolve and help them in their problems...or try to purge their souls of sin and cleanse them of unclean spirits.

Yes...Keep in mind BUSH is responsible for stopping Saddam and has helped out with 9/11, New Orleans, and many countries around the world. Would he be able to love Clinton while Lewinski's under his desk? What about Nixon and his "plumbers?"...Think about it. Bush is far from the worst president we've had...Now Cheney, he's a bit of a ********.

Strange as it may seem, Jesus loves everyone! But we are all given a chance to be good or bad and the bad will be punished. I am not refering to Bush or Chaney. Just the terrible people, like killers etc.

Of course. If the conventional wisdom is to be believed, Jesus could love anybody. And, of course, what the administration is doing is not evil. Silly at times, yes, but evil -- no.
