There wouldn't have been half as many if we hadn't invaded Iraq.

A terrorist is someone who tries to change my life without my consent using violent means. There are many types animal rights terrorists, religious terrorists, political terreorists, criminal etc etc.
terrorists only exist if people are swayed by their actions. If you think about it all terrorists say the same thing if we do x it will force them to do something different.
You can only stamp out terrorism if there is an oppotunity to live in a true democracy and you end persecution and discrimination of all types.
If people dont feel put dont they have no reason to force change ( no one will fight for worse rights will they)

I hate terrorists - they murder inocent people because they have a problem with the govenrment of that country.
Gandhi and Martin Luther King were "Freedom Fighters". They fought their cause with words, understanding and intelligence, not weapons. And they were more successful in achieveing their aims that the average shopping-centre-boming terrorist will EVER be!!!
The IRA and Al-Quaeda are terrorists. If you can't tell the difference you are an idiot.
Freedom Fighters don't murder cilvillians. Terrorists do. Any terrorist murderer who calls themselves a "freedom fighter" is deluded.
Theres nothing wrong with protesting and standing up for what you believe, but spreading hatred and commiting murder are the lowest of the low!!! If they murder innocent unarmed civillians they are dirty scummy murderers and terrorists and will rot in hell for what they have done!!!
If they want to arm themsleves and fight soldiers as soliders thats up to them. But planting bombs and killing innocent, unarmed cilvillians is not only cowardly but disgusting. The IRA were the lowest of the low as those cowards ran away after they'd planted their bombs in civillian areas. What cowardly scum!!!
You can't directly blame people for what their government does or does not do.
I hate terrorists - at least the Muslim ones blow themselves up along with their victims, removing their vile selves from this planet and saving everyone the trouble of jaling them. The IRA weren't even courageous enough to do that. Cowards. I wonder how they live with themselves - or are they so brainwashed it doesn't even register that what they did was evil and wrong?

That's a silly question, like asking "what is your view of the bad guys". The more pertinent question is, "what is terrorism, and who are the terrorist?" As I see it, the words have become so overused, that it really just means anyone you are opposed to who is willing to use force in their fight against you.

My view on terrorism, and terrorists is that they are a bunch of cowards that should be blown from the face of this Earth. If Osama bin Ladin was not the coward he is, he should have shown his face when he masterminded the attack on the United States. I hope that when he dies and he is in front of his maker,he is going to tell the Lord our GOD that he attacked America because of love for Allah, I hope that when he dies he will have a horrible death worse then what he did to the twin towers.

Terrorist are not a country, they are a bunch of pissed off people who feel they need to do something to right the wrongs. Some of their views are way out there, and those we need to listen to even if they are!
The other part is that WE have CAUSED a lot of our own problems! We put Osama bin Laden, a CIA operative, in power, as we did Saddam, who attacked Iran as we wanted him to do, and Castro!!
We have corporations going into other countries stealing their resources! Exactly how would you feel about that when you have kids starving to death?
Until no one is pissed, there will always be terrorism! To try and eliminate it militarily is just plain dumb!

The more advanced countries just invent their own terror and then identify it where they want it to be, so they can then attack to achieve their agendas.
You cant fight terror it is an idea "the war on terror" is just buzz words to keep the sheeples happy at home and not thinking too much.

All the nations in the world could not define Terrorism. Suicide mass murderers can be defined but leaves out State terrorism (Shock and Awe tactics) Both kill both maim both are bad. In international Law all wars of aggression are illegal. Unfortunately any oppression within a state boundary is legal. It may take a Terrorist/freedom fighter to oppose such oppression. The Jews in Warsaw opposed oppression and were shot as terrorists. the Arabs of Palestine oppose oppression and are shot as terrorists. Both are morally superior than their oppressors but they are all killers. Lionise those "terrorists" that fight oppression with words (Mahatma Gandhi), be wary of terrorists that kill, be intolerant of politicians who forget to listen, shun religious leaders who preach hatred, cast out religious political leaders for in their arrogance they will only listen to an inner voice that is a terror for all.

That one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter.
i.e In the 1950's Nelson Mandela was viewed by many as a terrorist. Same applies to Che Guevara and lots more besides.

Anyone who wants to wear a vest made out of glue, nails, broken glass, and dynamite, with the intention of killing themselves, and others, in a bloody explosion, has severe mental problems and should be in a loony bin where they can receive proper medical care, like Guantanamo Bay, where all the inmates get three square meals a day, a good night's sleep, play soccer and basketball, and have unlimited access to doctors and dentists. If that's torture, give me some!
