I have, several times, was once followed the path of christianity until I grew up and figured out it was all a big myth. Shoot, people still believe Adam and Eve were the first man and woman, even though even the bible does not say that at all--only that he created those two in his own image. Earlier it said he had created man; in the next chapter or so he then created Adam and Eve and out them in the garden of eden. Of course, this is an old fairy tale like the Flood that was already from earlier religions and was adapted by the israelites.

Depends on your definition of Christian.
I am a believer, not by dogma but by experience.
I've read it in English, Hebrew, And the Greek. All while I was in Prison 4.5 years. Before that i never read it....
I've read the Qu'ran, The Vedas, the Dhammapada, Zen Koans, Greek and Norse mythology, the Gita, studied shamanism,,,and deep refutatations and apologetics.
From what I see...If you seek, you will find whatever if is that is inside you. These books are just mirrors of yourself, Which do you reflect? I can see YOU in ALL of them! But Where do you see Yourself?

I have, and part of the Quran and Holy Scriptures. Greatest works of fiction every written! I commend the writers for such depth in imagination!
Having said that, has any Christians, Jews, Muslims etc, ever read a book on Wicca or Witchcraft? I wonder...

I've read the whole thing a number of times; I haven't got Hebrew down yet, but I do any NT referencing in Greek. No, I don't follow the message, but it's still a historically and culturally important book, and one that finds its way into my line of studies often.

I read in during my 16 years in catholic/jesuit school. What I learned was that people who quote the bible and follow it to the letter have a very poor understanding of the history of the book, and only use it as a tool to further their own cause.

I read it in bible study. I grew up in a Christian household, went to church and Sunday school. My interest in religion, God, and spirituality lead me down other paths... away from Christianity.

I have. I still have the one my grandmother gave me when I was a child. I also spent several years going to different "Christian" churches.
