Is you oncologist aware that you are on these? I would be concerned about drug interactions that they may decrease the efficacy of my chemotherapy and would not want to jeopardize my chances of curing my cancer.

I also had 6 treatments of chemo. I found I handled them exceptionally well! I advised my doctor of the vitamins I was taking to make sure they wouldn't negate the Chemo or cause harmful effects. The only one that there was controversy about was CoQ10 so I stopped taking that one just in case. The ones that I did take were Goji Juice, a good multi, Oncolyn (immune builder), Red Raspberry Seed, I drank Greens (to alcoholise your body), and a super antioxidant. My breast cancer was Estrogen Positive so I was asked to stay away from Milk Thistle and various other vitamins as they contained hormones. Today I am cancer free and continue to talk the same vitamins. I really felt good on the Goji Juice and I noticed a difference when I ran out as I felt pretty tiered and I had to wait a week for chemo as my blood count did not come up as fast. So I went out and got back on it! I also want to mention that sometimes it helps to cut all red meats out of your diet for a while (the longer the better) as they can be hard to digest. Also, have you heard of Essiac Tea? Try reading about it on the web. If you get an upset stomache from the chemo, I found that Aloe Vera Juice really helped! Contact me if you have any questions.

First, I would imagine you have taken your first chemo round. You may ask the Dr., if your still on chemo, if it is good to take other remedies. What you are taking is good. These remedies do boost the immune system. Go to a good health food store and ask a nutritionist to give you advice on things to take. - Everybody is different/ reacts differently. - There is a tea, I (eacanashia) - I cannot spell it. Phonetically is sounds like eck-ah-nay-sha. That is suppose to be good. Also, buy a juicer and juice to get enzymes. Parsley, beet greens are good when added to the juicer when juicing. There are books on juicing at the health food store. You will feel better. - Get excercise and eat very healthy. Most of all...Be very positive minded. - Use creative visualization. Good luck. I hope you will recover soon. Chemo kills all cells, it kills all the good and bad cells, and the good ones will reproduce, the bad ones die. Juicing gives good enzymes to help heal. Take omega 3's, they coat and protect cells. Take care.

Glyconutrition.
Contact me if you like.
I have just recently visited a family dealing with their 4 year old son and his particularly savage form of cancer. It seems they were able to quite easily get their son through the whole ordeal of chemotherapy.

I hope your Oncologist knows that you are taking this. I was told under no circumstances to take ANYTHING while doing Chemo.
Any supplement can interact with it Chemo.

I used those AND turkeytail mushrooms. The Bastyr institute for research in Seattle started me on them, they made all the difference.
