Shave or wax

If you want to remove it permanently - laser hair removal is the way to go - not cheap but not as expensive as it once was, and each time you have a treatment (usually takes around 6) you'll be hair free for a good while.

Waxing is only good in the short term and has to be redone regularly - plus can get problems with ingrowing hairs.

Both of the above involve some element of pain during the process but it's not that painful.

For laser treatment you can't be tanned in the area being done - as the laser needs a contrast between the skin and hair folicle, it also can't do white hairs - ie those with no pigment.

Shaving you will know all about.

Hope this helps.

Depends on which body hair you want to remove.

face: Wax, ALWAYS. Maybe laser treatments or whatever, but if you do it at home, only wax, never shave.

arms and legs: waxing works best and lasts longest, but you can shave if you want.

underarms: whenever possible, get it waxed by someone else, preferably by a professional. Trust me, you don't want coarse, darkened underarms from too much shaving in too many directions over a lifetime.

bikini line: wax. Don't shave, same reason as underarms. Hair tens to be thicker and coarser in these regions.

BEYOND the bikini line: hair-removing cream. Trust me, it's the least painless, least risky way to do it. Be careful, though, and don't let the cream get places it shouldn't.

Depends which part of the body! And temporary or permanent? More details in the question would be useful!

Shave, wax, depilation cream, electrolysis. Take your pick.

Tweezers. It might take a long time, but at least it's thorough.
