I have two urine stains for the dog. I've used Nature's Miracle and it doesn't take out the stains when I used a UV light.

Go to walmart and buy the product called simple green. It will remove any stain. And also...if your landlord is using a UV light to check the carpet...he's an ahole. he does not have the right to just walk in he must contact you and set an appointment to go in your home unless it's an emergency I would also ask that he proves it's dog urine....what the heck...a uv light that only picks up dog urine. I'd question that and make him prove it's dog urine rather than some other substance.

To Remove Pet Stains:
Zero Odor will remove protein-based pet stains -- pet urine, solid waste and vomit -- from carpet and upholstery. First, pre-test a small area of your carpet or fabric for color fastness and water staining.
After a successful color and water test, moisten the stained area with a damp sponge to loosen the stain and dirt. Spray (do not pour) Zero Odor on the stain. Wait a few minutes, then blot dry. Let dry or continue to blot dry with paper towels. (Make sure the towel is white, with no printed, color designs that could bleed). If the stain is deeply embedded you may want to literally stand on white paper towels that are placed over the area that has been treated with Zero Odor. In effect, you'll be blotting with your full body weight.
If the stain is old or especially severe, it is a good idea to thoroughly soak the area with water before spraying Zero Odor. Several applications may be necessary. After spraying, flush the area with water and blot with white paper towels - again, standing on them if necessary. This will help draw the stain out. Each time this process is repeated - even with deeply embedded or stubborn stains - you will notice the stain getting weaker and weaker.

mwahahahahahaha here is what you do! :D you take and you get laundry detergent powder or liquid. (probably powder would be easiest to deploy) and you grind it into your carpet EVERYWHERE dont miss any spots... (I would recommend the cheap stuff.) bust out your own black light and watch your entire carpet GLOW! woooo ravers do this to their clothing because it makes it glow.. that should mask the fact that their is a stain, just say you washed the carpet. oh yeah and also, vaccuum up the powder after you are done rubbing it into your carpet. if you can't get rid of it HIDE IT!, or put a couch over it :D

You know what? I don't think he can charge you for an INVISIBLE stain. You should talk to a lawyer or paralegal to find out if what he's doing is legal. As a tenant, your responsibility is to clean up your messes. Which you did.
