It's an MRI scan. It scans the body and they can see everything on the inside without actually having to go in.

i think you mean MRI scan which stands for: Magnetic Resonance Imaging
It's basically a scanner (doughnut shaped) that you lie on and it scans images of your internal organs. Its painless.
