PLEASE HELP!!! Me, my friend, and my brother have been trying to get our friend saved for about three days and we've made a lot of progress but today we told him to move away for a few minutes so we could talk and we talked about wether or not we should tell him about the seven trumpets of judgement in the bible but we agreed not to tell him yet cause if he got saved because of what we tell him about the seven trupets of judgement then he might not love God as much cause he might just get saved to escape judgement, and he kept telling us to tell him what we were talking about and we kept telling him no and then five minutes later he told us that he made a deal with God that if we told him what we were talking about telling him then he would go and get saved and we kept telling him that if we told him now then he would just be getting saved to escape judgement and he wouldn't really love God for God and what he did for him but he just...doesn't get it. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO SO!!! Peace.

Since he is not a follower, you must put him to death like it says in the Bible. (Acts 3:23)

First of all you can't force someone to get saved, You have to let that be between Him And God. Now that he know's all the facts there is nothing more that you can do. Accept for you praying to God.

Pray that the Holy Spirit will guide him to believe. Forceing someone to believe is the worse thing you could do. Its good that you have given him all the details in how to be saved but now its up to him to make the decision.

So what are you suppose to do: Pray, That's the most and only thing you can do right now. And the best thing you can do for your friend. God will make a way when there seems to be no way.

You are trying to do the Holy Spirit's job. We are only to tell people the gospel and let God work in their heart. You can not reason people into heaven. It is a will issue and God only can cause us to want him. Also you can not judge who God will save. He said that all who call on him will be saved period. Even if we go to God with wrong motives God will fix us. None of us have had 100% pure motives but God saves sinners. We only have to come to him as we are and ask him to save us and do his work in us. Our trust is in him. The more you try to push people the more you are in Gods way. Just simply plant the seed and then pray a lot and watch God be God.
If we wait to be perfect before going to God then none of us would make it.

Personally, if you want to convince someone that Christianity is the true path then let them discover that for themselves - be a good Christian and show how it influences your life and your decisions. If they dont believe that thats their choice, the same choice you make to believe in God.

At the end of the day, you cant make someone who does believe have faith. So dont get so worked up about it, pressuring them into it will only push them away.

for one thing you shouldnt exclude him so you can talk behind his back if you dont know then talk latter
for another you are talking about the wrong book. look at the salvation parts of the bible not rev. talk about how we all need to live not how we could die.
three days is not a ministry. i have just recently become more solid in my beleafes after 18 years of life. you might actualy have to minister to him for years.

telling him what you beleave is a good thing, but somtimes you have to let them see you walk the walk. if you are ever in dought on what to do check the tora. jesus never said that you can disregard it.

dont tell him that he will have a better life with christ. your life when your acept christ will be wild. with days that you get up and are awake for five minutes and already want to go back to bed. the thing you should tell him is that he will gain blessings that he wouldnt have otherwise.
that jesus will help you with those tough periods. if you read job then you would know that even the holiest of men can go through hell on earth. what you gain is the abuility to say that it is for good. that even when you are down you are doing what you need to.

its well written and from the heart we can sense your urgency and flood of emotions its important that you share these feelings with your friend but also all the more that you tell someone..that person's parents, teacher , priest...get some help for them...poems are touching but if someone is entertaining then its time to really reach out. That person is lucky to have such a caring friend in you.

Trying to interpret Revelations to a non-Christian is about like trying to convince a car to start itself. The simple salvation story is what he needs to hear, not the seven trumpets deal. That's just too deep for most people to comprehend, and is not necessary for salvation, anyway. No wonder he kept asking you what you were talking about.
Recall a Billy Graham sermon, or pull one up on the PC, and see just how simple the story is. If he understands the basic tenets of salvation, and the Lord convicts his heart, he will understand, accept, and be saved. If not, then it is not his time. All you can do thereafter is pray for him.
Blessings

A person should always first be told what the bible says about our sinful nature, how it offends Holy God, and how the punishment for our sinfulness is eternal damnation. Then if that person cries out for escape, tell them about Jesus.
Salvation of a person doesn't rest in your hands, it rests in the hands of Almighty God.
Only if by Gods will, He changes the heart and mind of an unwilling sinner, will they come to Him to be saved.

Well, tell him. Then tell him all about Jesus Christ every detail but don't push it too hard. Take him to your church. I'd seriously advise that. Or your pastor or reverend. Or a strong Christian who can aid in this. If you can't, just pray and do whatever God tells you to do, even if it's stand on your head. Say anything he puts in your mind that is really God.

And just try and ignore the negative ppl. Do whatever God leads you to do. I think his time of salvation is really close. God be with you!

If he is truly interested in God and being saved he has a right to know all of the "facts," You shouldn't keep anything from him. This is a big decision in his life, he should be able to make it with his eyes open and no regrets
Blessed Be.

Tell him whatever he wants to know. You can't bargain with an unbeliever or God about salvation. He didn't "make a deal" with God. God will hear his prayer of faith, not a bargainer.

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
