Where can I download encyclopedias, such as Britannica or Encarta, online? I don't like using the websites and I'm looking for an interative software, can anyone please guide me to some?

Thanks

Wikipedia.com is a great free one for you. For Brittanica, you have to be a member. You have a free trial, and then pay as a member. Encarta is a good one too. For Funk and Wagnalls, it's mainly for college students.
