if you have a legit prescription and you didnt get it from one of your friends and they said "hey take this to get rid of your std" than you take it 3-4 times a day for 10 days or until its all gone you dont just take it till you feel better either,feeling better does not mean the std is gone

The only STD penicillin will reliably cure nowadays is syphilis, and that requires an injection in your tush--you can't take enough orally to cure it. All other STDs have become resistant to penicillin or aren't sensitive to it at all. Depending on the STD, you usually need to take doxycycline, azithromycin, or Cipro.
The best thing to do if you think you have an STD is to get diagnosed properly. In some cases, all you need to do is give a urine sample. Most importantly, untreated STDs can cause fertility problems, or very serious pelvic inflammatory disease in women.
