Yes i have heard it too. The beer companies keep saying it all the time.

A glass- ...not a bottle...and now and then is good enough, because I heard that a bottle every day for years will make you an alcoholic, too....your body will act just like an alcoholic's body would, if you can't have that bottle. I lived in Germany...where beer drinking is almost like a sport...it's a hobby for a lot of 'm. My Mom (nurse) worked with alcoholic patients.

Jury's out. Depends on what kind of beer. I think on balance, a glass of red wine is probably better for you than beer. But if beer makes you feel good, no harm done at that level of consumption.

yeah I have but I don't know if it is true. My fiance reminds of that all the time I honest think it is just an excuse. I have heard that a little wine is good daily and I know some doctors that have prescribe it . I worked in the medical field for 4 years nursing.

Yep, in fact my doctor told my wife that she should drink a glass of red wine a day to help her good/bad cholesterol balance. She told him she didn't like red wine and he told her that a beer would do almost as well.

What really sucks is that the same doctor who is telling my wife to drink more beer tells me that I need to exercise, eat more oat bran and less fatty foods (sigh...).

Yes! The study actually said that 2 drinks a day may actually be beneficial to us. But, only 2,, ;-(=

yes it is good for you because it thins the blood and makes it smoother. this way you do not get blood clots. dont use in excess though.
