We enter Heaven only by the Grace of God. If we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior we are Heaven bound.
BUT why would a true believer after God's heart choose NOT to set aside one day a week to come into the house of the Lord with other believers to pray and worship Him for dying for our sins. Jesus saved our souls, and I feel very blessed by that, and that's why I choose to make Jesus and church a priority. Not to say you can't worship and pray outside of church, because you should. The Bible does tell us to gather with others to worship and pray. Fellowship makes us stronger Christian and holds us more accountable.

I believe that no matter what your idea of god is, you should not need to go to a building to be close to Him. Your God should always be with you. And if you need to speak to Him (or Her depending on your beliefs) you should do it anytime, anyplace, and anyway possible.
The stablished church tells you that you must go to it, in order to be saved. But they say that because they need customers, who will leave MONEY everytime they attend.
Just be a good human being. We all have the capability to be good people. Just make the right choices, and you will end up in what your idea of heaven is, after you life ends.

The Bible says you are saved by believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth that Jesus is the Son of God. It doesn't say that church attendance is a requisite, which is good for those who live where there isn't a church available or who are too ill to go.
Having said that, it IS highly recommended that you find a community of like-minded believers to share with, otherwise it can lead to some strange ways of thinking. Most cults grow out of people who reject all congregational worship.

I believe that God doesn't discriminate based on something so petty. I don't keep any particular day as the Sabbath, and I don't go to church, but I very much believe that I'll go to heaven.

I believe in God but don't go to church. I don't like going to church b/c they're nothing but hipocrits that talk behind each other's backs and take everyones money. Sorry that' just how I feel. I pray to our Lord every night and believe that he died on that cross for our sins.
