No unfortunetly not. Unless your cd says it can, and it has a mini monitor and costs $100+ but most unfortunetly can't.

The simple answer to this question is no. However, if your DVD has items on it formatted for CD (some will have additional features such as songs, or additional content for your computer, etc), then that information can be used by most CD players. However, you won't be able to have full access to everything on the DVD, only that information that has been formatted for CD.

That depends what you mean. The new players can play old CDs, mp3s and I think also DVDs. But I'm not 100% sure, so you should aks the shop where you bought it. If it's an old one, don't bother, it won't be able to play DVDs.

Hahahaaaaaa. Sorry ma'am. No. Just cuz they look alike, it would seem they would use the same player, but they're a completely different format. Some dvd players have cd players too, but only if they're labeled that way

No, it's a different kind of data format. You need something that has multiple heads that can read cd, dvd, cd-r, cd-rw, dvd-r, dvd-rw.

Not unless it's got recognizable music tracks on it. A good way to find out the answer to questions like this is to try it and find out. I did, and I found out that sometimes it will play the music, but a lot of the time it won't.
