Why do men go out and come home late, drunk and then get made at us for being mad with them for drinking and driving and coming home late!!!!

Well, I think many times men feel frustrations at not being more successful in life and in their jobs, being yelled at by bosses for no good reasons, wanting to be and do more in life and not seeing ways to do that. Also, heartbreaks, disappointments, etc. To get away from lifes problems with other men or women or alone can be fun and relaxing, sort of purging even.
Drinking and driving is STUPID, people get caught fr it and go to jail and lose their liscenses for it and they should in my opinion.
Drunk people often just get mad at anyone for no good reason. They are just being mad back mostly.

Because some men like to be the dominating force in a relationship and don't like to be told what to do or be nagged. You'll have to either live with it or find a new man. You certainly won't change him. As someone already said not all men are like that. Some men would see it as that you actually care about them.

Because women go for the flash of the popular party guys when its the nice quiet guys who treat women right.

Because the guys u know are not men,,they are boys that havent grown up. If my man went out and came home late he wouldnt get in the door. Or the guys you know are alcoholics.

I've heard about that before. Some of the men do it because they haven't realize it's time to assume responsibility of taking care of his new family. Some just do it to prove it's friends they are not being told what to do by a woman,,,,,,,YEAH I know, sounds stupid, but VERY TRUE.

If they did it before, it is a sense of giving up their independence. Some men have a hard time accepting that they can't have a good relationship and be the absolute masters of their domain.

We don't get mad at you. We just don't want to here your BS. We married you and your not the boss of us. This is the general feeling a lot of men have.

Uh... I'm no expert but i think you might have some issues there. Not all men do this, especially the hard working god ones. You might want to look more into this situation.

Maybe because you've turned their homes into such pieces of paradise that they have to go out and booze it up and come back to repay your kindness to them.

to throw blame off of themselves they put it on to you. next time, don't be there when he gets home and let him wonder where you are and if you're safe. also, show him a few stories of innocent people getting killed by stupid drunk drivers.
