The acceptance of cursing is reflective of who we are as a people. The garbage that our children hear spewing from our mouths is going to come from their mouths. Cursing fits in with the current standard today. Our values have deteriorated and we have become desensitized to what is befitting decent human beings. That is why we have become a nation of drug addicted , porn addicted, money addicted and all the other addictions that prevail in North America. Garbage in our lives, homes, televisions, airwaves and vile speech, is leading to the downfall and moral decay of our families and young. The downfall of our country is not far behind.

What can I add? Yo are so right.
It is like my mother said, ''If you talk about your family, you are talking about yourself''. The same goes for cursing.

I'm sure they don't really hear it...it has gotten to be their normal speech pattern and they don't realise it. My mom taped my sister talking once so she could hear how foul-mouthed she had gotten in college and she was shocked! She had just picked it up from others and wasn't really aware of it.
