but real Islam promotes peace. i think if there was no Christianity
to condemn people there would be peace.

A world without Islam would be totally unrecognizable.
No Islamic conquest of Spain and the Byzantine Empire. That would eliminate the Inquisition and the Crusades. That would have left Western Europe as a cultural backwater out of touch with the East for generations. That would have delayed and possibly prevented the European colonization of the Americas and the world. From that point on, the world would be difficult to even imagine.
It is impossible to say what the conditions in the Middle East would be like today if Islam never existed.

No----------the Christians have caused more trouble there than Islam ever has, from the Crusades to the no civil rights in Lebanon for Muslims.
You think of Palestine as being all Muslims. There are alot of Christians, too.
You think of Lebanon being all Muslim? Their government is 50% Christian. These Christians caused the problems of the civil war there.
You think all Muslims are from the Mid-east? Only a few of them are.

if Israel respects the UN resolutions and stops attacking her neighbors.
if Arab leaders werent so corrupted.

I will answer your question with another question, if the world had no religion at all, would there be world peace. My answer would be no to both, i dont think the middle east will ever be peacefull, here in the USA we have shopping malls, in the middle east they have sand. here in the USA we have comedy clubs where people laugh, in the middle east they have sand. here in the USA we have starbucks, in the middle east they have sand. and what it comes down to is, they're a bunch of angry people in the middle east. just like the people in lancaster/palmdale.

if there werent people who used religious reasons to achieve their own personal goals, and in the process completely destoying others, yes.
if people could just listen to the other side of the argument instead of killing out of twisted patriotic hatred, yes.
if there were people who stopped misinterpreting religious ideas as an excuse to blow themselves up and everybody around them, yes.
