you dont get to choose your blood....and the next thing is....regardless of how differnt you might be in life, your blood will be with your entire life, and 99.9% of the time will help you more than any "water" will.

Personally I know I would help and save my family over my friends. However harsh that is to hear and for me to say, its true. I mean friends come and go, some do stick around, but family, they have a bond so much stronger than a friend can share. Family is with you till the end, support you no matter what, should never judge you or treat you any less then you deserve, they are brutally honest when others can't be, they are family. Count yourself lucky when your family members are your best friends

I believe blood is thicker then water. Family is the most important people you'll have. Friends are acquaintances they come and go all through life. But family have to love and accept you no matter what. that's a deep bond. you can get mad at them or do something wrong but they will always come around no matter what. Also they'll always be your family till the day you die.

No i disagree, my mum was meant to love me no-matter what and buggered off with some lunatic bloke and dosnt speak 2 me anymore.
Whereas friends last a lifetime...
