The hospital usually is responsible for asking the familiy of the dying or deceased whether they would like tissue or organ donation
The regional organ and tissue bank (ROBI) is required to follow up and obtain consent. The hospital is out of the loop and do not harvest the organs.

Absolutely. Patient rights do not end when they become deceased. They need consent.

yes, but it is also on someones drivers license when they consent. Maybe someone who has never seen will get a chance now..Part of whoever would live on..
